summer 2007 (revisited part two)…

one of the activities that our instructor had us work on, in our summer of 2007 darkroom class, was printing stacked negatives.

our instructor showed us how to make composite or stacked negative prints, by taking two different negatives, sandwiching them, and exposing them.

it opened up a whole new world for me to make new scenarios and construct new narratives. it amplified my number of possible photographic outcomes.

it allowed me to take the “truth,” twist it, put my own spin on it, and create a beautiful “lie.” and, i created some of the most beautiful lies ever.
